Here are links to websites that I've found useful or interesting, and explanations as to why they are useful or interesting, as well as links to specific pages on those sites that have material that I would recommend to the drum-hungry individual.

Vic Firth.com: A drumstick manufacturer that makes the perfect pair! Their website is unequalled as a tome of information for all levels of percussionist. You can especially learn a lot from watching the DCI corps videos (2004 2005 2006). My favourites are those of the 2004 Vanguard, 2005 Blue Devils, and 2006 Capital Regiment. For great insight into (what I think is) the best technique for drumming, check out Dom Famularo's Cyber Lesson series. The '04 Vanguard, '06 Capital Regiment, and '06 Cavaliers played a technique on marching drums that resembles what this guy teaches on drumset.

Tapspace: A publisher of many great pieces of music for Marching Percussion, run by Murray Gusseck and Jim Casella. They sell a lot of books and downloadable sheet music for percussion. I am thoroughly satisfied with the products I've purchased, and would highly recommend the books Fresh Perspectives, Green Beats, and Parking Lot Etudes. There's a lot of good stuff to be learnt.

The Santa Clara Vanguard: A drum corps that has consistently had the greatest drumlines of all time. They are notorious for playing long, groovy exercises full of complicated rhythms that will explode your mental chops. Tapspace sells a lot of the cadences and warmups that the SCV is known for.

The Concord Blue Devils: An organisation that fields a Division I, Division II, and Division III corps in DCI. Their website is where you can order The Blue Devil Book of Drumming which has a lot of fun exercises in it, as well as show music from the mid 90's. Kevin Murray's "Ditty," Roger Carter's "13th Hour," Scott Johnson's "Uno Mas," and the 1997 Shopping Spree are my favourites to play... some good stuff to bust your chops on, though not the most conducive to producing a well-rounded drummer.

The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps: The most successful drum and bugle corps of this decade.

ConsTitution: An Independent World Class drumline from Raleigh, North Carolina, that recently completed its second year of competition. I marched in the 2008 snareline and it was a shit-ton of fun.

The Cary Drumline on Myspace: The glorious Cary Drumline, of which I was a part for 3 winters and 2 falls. The site has some pictures and audio clips of past Cary Drumlines.
